Series FPS provides low voltage signal and visual indication when liquid is present in non-pressurized piping or components. Designed for one-time use; requires simple sensor replacement after the sensor is triggered. In less aggressive chemical applications, the probes may be cleaned and re-used. Suitable for any conductive liquid with a resistance less than 3 Megohm.
Specifications/Materials of Construction:
Series GL level indicators utilize a double-wall construction to indicate the level of highly corrosive or ultra-pure liquids compatible with Pyrex glass. They cannot be used with hydrofluoric acid or sodium hydroxide as they will etch the Pyrex cylinder wall. They are available with either PVC, natural polypropylene or PTFE ends in nominal lengths of 1, 2, 3, and 4 feet. FKM seals are standard. Pipe sizes are 1/2" and 3/4" NPT. BSP (British Standard Pipe) threads are also offered. Consult page 4 for pressure and temperature specifications.
Plasto-O-Matic Chemical Flow and Level Indicators offer a safe and economical means of indicating flow, clarity, or exact level of extremely corrosive and ultra-pure liquids. Materials Of Construction: A wide choice of plastic indicator end materials is offered to assure maximum chemical compatibility.
Polypropylene, PTFE or Kynar. Standard O-ring seals on Series “GX” indicators are either Buna-N or Viton. On Series “GX”, “GYW” indicators. Viton O-rings are standard. Stainless steel fasteners are standard on all flow indicators. The transparent inner cylinder walls used in the Series “GY”, “GYW” indicators are Pyrex. The transparent outer cylinder walls used in all PLAST-O-MATIC indicators are high impact strength acrylic.
